Well, I’m sorry to say that I have yet to try the Grilled Steak Taquitos from Taco Bell. I’m receiving all kinds of feedback though. My brother noted that they are very much like the steak quesadilla, and postures that they may not be around very long, not because they aren’t great, but he fears that they may suffer the same fate as the Taco Bell Grande. Meaning, that the Taco Bell Grande was an extra large Taco Supreme, and because of the fact that it was a larger version of another menu item with no other real differentiator, Taco Bell decided to cut it. He says that because the Grilled Steak Taquitos are very much like a smaller version of the Steak Quesadilla, there’s really not a need for both menu items. I see the point, but also believe that there is a lot to be said for proportions, that is, the Taco Bell Grande was better because the meat, sour cream and shell proportions compared to the other ingredients were increased. I’m looking forward to seeing if the same can be said about minimizing the Steak Quesadilla in the form of the Grilled Steak Taquitos.

But steveny914, I have yet to try them and I really have no excuse. I could tell you that the day I wrote about the taquitos I came down with bronichitis, and to kill it I was prescribed some kind of evil antibiotic that tore up my insides. But really, no one wants to hear about things coming out of my body or the civil unrest in my stomach and lower intestines, and excuses are like assholes.
